Everyone at Autoquake.com would like to reassure our customers that we are taking the current Toyota recall very seriously. The company has taken the following action:
- A total of nine Toyotas in Autoquake’s stock are included in the recall. We have withdrawn these models from sale until the necessary corrective work to the accelerator pedal mechanism has been completed. These cars will only be listed for sale again when we have been assured by a Toyota dealer that the remedial work has been completed and the cars are entirely safe.
- We expect to know how soon these cars will be safe to offer for sale again sometime next week.
- Anyone buying one of these cars will receive written confirmation that the recall work has been carried out.
- Any Toyota model covered by the recall that we subsequently offer for sale will be checked to make sure the recall work has been completed before it is listed on the website.
In summary, you can be sure that any Toyota for sale on this website is safe. Anyone who needs further information about the recall should log on to the Toyota website.
